Dare to Climb the Pinnacle: The Struggles of a Hard-of-Hearing Man

Dare to Climb the Pinnacle

Dare to Climb the Pinnacle is a story of quiet heroism.  The authors, Lawrence Lee and his mother, Kung Wah Lee, wrote this book to encourage and support hard-of-hearing people everywhere.  They wish to inspire readers, particularly young people, to approach life with optimism and confidence.

At the age of two, Lawrence lost his hearing after suffering a serious illness.  After the initial shock, the family quickly rallied and made extraordinary efforts to ensure Lawrence would gain the skills and confidence to lead an independent, meaningful life.  From kindergarten to high school, Lawrence was able to attend regular school.  At 13, he decided to leave his home in Hong Kong to attend boarding school in England.  His many accomplishments include a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Accounting and Financial Analysis, a Master Degree in Business Administration, a Certified Management Accountant and a professional diploma in Information Technology.
