S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Youth Employment Connect (YEC) aims to help young people overcome barriers to employment by providing them the skills and ability to make a successful transition to employment or return to school. All youth aged 15-29 who are unemployed and not attending full time school are encouraged to register to this program.
YEC targets at youth such as post secondary graduates, high school graduates, recent immigrants, individuals that did not complete high school and those facing other barriers to employment. Youth will work on self- assessment, goal setting, career search skills and life skills enhancement.
4 Weeks of group based training & Short Term Certificate Training
10 weeks of job search support which may include: work experience with access to Wage Subsidy support, Job Mentoring and Coaching
Clarify employment needs and wants
Formulate plan of actions for realizing career vision

Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or a Protected Person who is entitled to work in Canada
Between the ages of 15 and 29
Working less than 20 hours per week and is actively seeking full time employment
Not a full time student
Not currently participating in another Canada-BC Job Fund (CJF) ESS funded program
