Program Director, Immigrant Settlement and Integration Program – Peggy Lau
Peggy joined S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in 2005 as a Program Office of Settlement Services. She is currently the Director of Immigrant Settlement and Integration Program in the Lower Mainland and Fort St. John.
Peggy oversees the settlement and language training services which offer newcomers opportunities to develop English language skills, learn about Canada’s labour market, develop professional and social networks, and settle into their local communities.
With a background in psychology and education counselling, and a passion for inclusive, anti-oppressive practices, Peggy has worked in the settlement sector for over 15 years. She has presented at national conferences on best practices in settlement and language training services. She is committed to building welcoming communities that foster a sense of belonging for all.
