Eligible Participants :

  • Young adult age 18-29 years
  • Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents living in Metro Vancouver
  • Unemployed/underemployed/self-employed (20 hr/week or less)
  • Non EI eligible
  • Not receiving EI benefit or did not receive EI in last 3 years
  • Looking for self-employment or starting a business
  • Not attending FT school or attending school less than 10 hr/week
  • Currently not attending or not receiving benefit from other Employment Services and Support (ESS) programs

Service Centre

The Surrey Service Centre offers services to residents of Surrey and Delta area. The Centre delivers settlement services to new immigrants of diverse cultural background to help them overcome language and cultural barriers and to integrate into the community. It partners with local service providers to serve the multicultural community and to promote the participation in the community.
