AEIP Beijing Service Centre

Active Engagement and Integration Project (AEIP) is the first overseas initiative of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. that provides free pre-landing services to support the settlement, adaptation and integration of individuals moving to Canada.

Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), AEIP aims to facilitate smooth transition for newcomers to Canada by providing services that promote community and labour market engagement prior to their departure. As of March 2017, AEIP has also been serving candidates from the Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP).

Client activities such as group orientation, 1-on-1 help, tailor-made workshops, webinars and personalized guidance are provided on an on-going basis. Specific topics based on individual needs also include labour market employment information, foreign credential recognition, health & medical services information, education & training goals, banking, financial literacy and more. For clients encountering specific challenges, the AEIP Integration Counsellors will provide individual counseling through face-to-face meetings, follow up e-mails, telephone sessions, or video-conferencing guidance. Referrals to local settlement agencies as well as appropriate programs or services are made that enhances integration as well as faster adaptation to the Canadian community.
