S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Teams Up With The Richness Project:  A New Social Media Initiative To Raise Money For Canadian Charities

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and Scotiabank invite Canadians to share what ‘Richness’ means to them

Vancouver, BC – S.U.C.C.E.S.S., in the social service category, has been selected as one of 18 charities in Canada, to participate in The Richness Project, a one-of-a-kind social experiment that will raise money for S.U.C.C.E.S.S., and several others, by giving Canadians a platform to share moments special to them which make life truly fulfilling or ‘rich’.

“We are honoured to be part of The Richness Project,” said Thomas Tam, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise money and awareness for S.U.C.C.E.S.S., and we are calling on our support network to submit their own ‘richness moments’ to The Richness Project and encourage their friends to do the same.”

Some of Canada’s most beloved personalities are getting behind The Richness Project and will be sharing their personal moments throughout the campaign to inspire the rest of the country to get involved. The first Canadians to share their ‘richness moments’ are two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Cassie Campbell-Pascall, who selected a photo of her favourite Sunday walk with her daughter, and hockey icon and former Stanley Cup champion, Lanny McDonald, who shared a photo of his uplifting hockey game in Kandahar, Afghanistan with men and women in the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Richness Project is a long-term initiative that invites all Canadians to share their special life moments, and is an important part of Scotiabank’s global philanthropic program, Bright Future, which supports communities both in Canada and abroad. By submitting a ‘richness moment’ photo or video or a 50 character text, participants will have the option to choose one of the featured charities to receive a $1.00 donation from Scotiabank. As one of these charities, this is a fantastic opportunity for S.U.C.C.E.S.S.to raise money and awareness for S.U.C.C.E.S.S.’ important cause.
