People’s Voice 2011 Civic Election Workshop


Vancouver, BC – To combat low voter turnout rates among Chinese-Canadians and to promote community awareness of voting as a core civic duty, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is co-organizing a free, issue-based workshop “People’s Voice 2011” with the Association of Chinese Canadian Professionals (ACCP), the Civic Education Society (CES), the Richmond Chinese Community Society (RCCS).

People’s Voice 2011 provides an opportunity for ordinary citizens’ voices to be heard and for the candidates to respond to the people’s concerns. The proceedings of the workshop will be compiled into a special report.
