Estina Wan is a registered nurse in four different countries: Canada, England, Australia, and Hong Kong. She has a Bachelor degree of Health Science in Nursing from Charles Sturt University in Australia. She is also a certified Clinical Nursing Instructor.
Before moving to Canada, Estina was instrumental in the Panel of Examiners for Nursing Board Examination in Hong Kong. She also played a crucial role in strengthening the different health care aspects at the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital. Nursing Educator, Nursing Inservice Director, and Quality Assurance Coordinator were just some of the positions she has held in her distinguished career.
Estina has served S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in different areas since 1999 and has made numerous contributions. One of her proudest achievements was to create the Residential Care Aide and Home Support Worker Programs from scratch. These programs have provided the Simon K.Y. Lee Seniors’ Care Home with quality and competent staff. Another major achievement by Estina was the establishment of the Health Care Assistant Program, which was the first health-care related program by S.U.C.C.E.S.S. formally registered with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of BC.
Estina was the coordinator of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Health Care Advisory Committee. Currently, she is also the Director of CanaInc. Home Care Services.
The passion of Estina was to equip her students, especially the new immigrants, to find meaningful career in Canada, thus assisting in their integration to this country.
