Newspaper Readership Habits among Chinese-speaking Community

Vancouver, B.C.  – Find out where Metro Vancouver’s growing Mandarin and Cantonese communities are reading about local news and events.   S.U.C.C.E.S.S., one of largest social service providers in B.C., will be discussing research findings of newspaper readership in the Chinese and Mandarin communities in the Lower Mainland.

For a glimpse into Metro Vancouver residents’ newspaper readership there will be a question and answer period about the findings by Innovative Research Group on whether Cantonese and Mandarin speaking residents choose to read Chinese only newspapers, English only newspapers or both for their local news.  S.U.C.C.E.S.S. will be discussing which media is most effective to create awareness about programs available to Canadians and Immigrants, and how to increase awareness using other print media and mediums.
