Emergency Relief for Haiti Earthquake

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Locations Added to Collect Donation

Vancouver – In support of Tzu Chi Canada’s efforts in assisting Haiti earthquake victims, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is accepting public donations at its 8 service centres in Vancouver, Richmond, Tri-Cities and Surrey.

“The scale of this disaster is enormous and its impact has been devastating to thousands of people and their communities. This is our second time to partner with Tzu Chi in emergency relief efforts. Being part of the global community, we want to help people affected in Haidi,” said Tung Chan, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S.

Peter Kuo, Vice CEO of Tzu Chi Canada indicated, “Tzu Chi’s Coordination Center has identified three areas of focus for immediate relief work in Haiti: 1) Relief aid distribution; 2) Medical assistance; 3) Global fundraising efforts. Tzu Chi’s relief team, including volunteers and doctors from the US and the Dominican Republic, are on standby along with large quantities of relief goods and medical supplies. Donations from the public will directly go to these efforts.”
