MEDIA ADVISORY S.U.C.C.E.S.S. to Explore the Secret of Success for Immigrants Vancouver, BC - We may have known well enough about the barriers to employment for skilled immigrants but there are not too many researches investigating the positive channelling factors contributing to the immigrants’ success in securing employment. In partnership with Dr. Norman E. Amundson, professor of Counselling Psychology, University of British Columbia, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Employment Services (SES) has designed a qualitative research to explore the determining positive factors that have contributed to the ultimate success of new immigrants of Chinese descent who have secured and maintained employment for at least three months in the lower mainland of BC.
