Mr. Lyall Knott is a senior partner of Clark Wilson LLP’s Business Law Group.
He was born and raised in Vancouver and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1971 and Bachelor of Laws degree in 1972, both from the University of British Columbia. He obtained a Masters of Law from the University of London, England, in 1973 and in 1985 was appointed to the rank of Queen’s Counsel.
 
Mr. Knott Q.C has achieved other noticeable achievements including being named Honourary Consul for the Republic of Tunisia in British Columbia and Yukon (1993), the Blythe Eagles Volunteer Service Award by the UBC Alumni Association (2000), Recipient of the Commonwealth Medal for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee (2002), Awarded the medal of Merit Award for outstanding citizenship (2003), Chair, Board of Directors UBC Foundation (2005), Chair, Board of Directors, Rick Hansen Man In Motion Foundation.
