Since her immigration to Canada in 1990, Mrs. Diana Tang had served as Festival Manager of "Festival of Hong Kong 1992" and then as Program Manager in the Chinese Cultural Centre. After that, she worked with Hamazaki Wong Marketing Group as Account Director for some years before she retired as a result of a traffic accident.

Mrs. Tang's community involvement in Vancouver has been extensive. She was a member of Program Committee of Vancouver Art Gallery, External Affairs Secretary of Hong Kong University Alumni Association in BC, Committee Member of St. Stephen's Girls' College Alumni Association, Board Member of Chinese Cultural Centre as well as Judith Marcuse Dance Projects, and is currently Hon. Secretary of Fairchild TV Advisory Committee.
