Randy Wong was born in Hong Kong and educated in Canada, firstly at UBC and later at the University of Ottawa where he obtained his Master Degree in Health Administration. He has since been a career health services executive in Canada.

He has had a distinguish career in health care at the Federal, provincial and hospital levels: from acute care to mental health, from specialized brain injury care to community and long term care. He has planned and supervised the construction of more than ten hospitals and has been the chair of the Riverview psychiatric hospital in British Columbia. Under his stewardship, Riverview hospital decentralized its psychiatric beds to every region throughout the province. In the early nineties, Mr. Randy Wong became the first Chinese Canadian to assume a C.E.O. position in a Canadian general hospital. He has administered hospital of various sizes and complexity.         His career interests also took him to the education arena. For nine years, he held a clinical assistant professorship with the department of Health Care and Epidemiology, Faculty of Medicine, U.B.C   He has also developed and taught a course in Nursing Research at the University of Athabasca. In 1999, he was appointed to create a licensing and educational system to regulate acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine doctors in B.C.  The system was fully developed and operational within four years.  The training curricula, touted as the first in the western world that integrates the traditional training in China and the west, is adopted by B.C. for implementation up to this day.  It is followed widely by other jurisdictions including Australia and Ontario.

Due to his extensive experience in all aspects of education, health and medical administration, including the conventional and alternative, he was well sought after for advice that included addressing the Federal Government’s Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada (Romanow Commission), and various national and provincial task forces.       

He was a board member of SUCCESS in its early years.  He later volunteered in various projects over the years, one of which was the initial planning of the Simon K.Y. Lee Seniors Care Home.  Although his career took him to other provinces, he never ceased to contribute to the local Chinese communities, using his experience earned in SUCCESS. He was one of the founders of the Chinese Canadian National Council and served as its founding president of the Edmonton chapter.  While in Edmonton, he also helped establish an immigration settlement service society.  He was appointed by the Premier of Alberta to his Cultural Advisory Council.

The Canada Social Enterprise Incorporated (Canada Inc.) was formed in November 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary of S.U.C.C.E.S.S.  Its mission is to enhance the mission of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. by providing comprehensive services at fair market rates, using business practices and principles in its operation.  Canada inc. will be creating services in the areas of education, health care, and business supports. Mr. Randy Wong was appointed to serve as its CEO in July 2008.
