Aboriginal Approach

This is specifically designed for Aboriginal women, delivered in a culturally sensitive way.
This approach will offer sharing circles, smudging ceremonies, facilitation to include elders,
and other participant requests.

Objectives

  • To recognize, understand, and overcome the impact of abuse
  • To assist the women to overcome their barriers and make positive changes in their lives.
  • To build on each women’s existing strengths and skills
  • To support the women to employment and/or return back to school
