The Job Mentoring Program is an initiative to address some of the barriers skilled immigrants face. The program provides direction, guidance and clarity to skilled immigrants by connecting them with locally-trained professionals or professionally established immigrants in their respective occupations. At S.U.C.C.E.S.S., job mentors act as a guide, sometimes taking the role of a coach to provide personalized career-related suggestions, as well as support and help orient professional immigrants in their field of expertise in Canada.
Clients eligible for Job Mentoring will be matched with mentors in a professional field related to their own. The mentors will dedicate up to 12 hours of their time over a period of three months to the clients and provide them with valuable insights for re-entry into their field of expertise.
