Needs Determination / Individual Employment Counseling
Our multilingual employment consultants provide one-on-one employment service and support for job seekers in their job search.
Objective: To examine job seekers' employment issues/needs and assist them in developing a practical action plan to address the barriers to job search.
Process: The process involves one-on-one meetings and follow-up with participants. At the meetings, our employment consultant will:
• Assess individual strengths and transferrable skills
• Identify employment-related needs and barriers
• Provide labour market information and share community resources
• Refer to appropriate services and programs based on individual situation
• Assist in resume, cover letter, interview, company/industry research, employer contact
• Share job posting information and market job seekers to employers
On going support: Our employment consultants will follow up with participants and provide on-going support in their job search.
The Job Search workshop is a 2 week career and job exploration, management and planning program available to individuals who are currently unemployed or underemployed in the Lower Mainland.
We assist Immigrants with career exploration, job search and effective Interview Techniques to achieve an effective plan to find a job in Canada.

What makes this program unique is our dedicated team of Facilitators who are experienced with the strategies and practices of finding a job in Canada. This program consists of 2 weeks in a classroom engaged in exercises and discussions that provoke deep and powerful thoughts, and detailed presentations and workshops which will help teach Effective Resume Writing Skills, Cover Letter Writing Skills, Effective Interview Techniques and many more!
