A Self Employment Program for People with Disabilities

We will work with you to assess whether self-employment is the right option for you.  We will provide assistance with business planning, business skills training and additional services including access to financing and business launch.

Philosophy

  • Programming is individualized
  • One-on-one coaching and instruction is provided wherever possible.

You are eligible if …

  • You are someone designated by the MHSD as a Person with Persistent, Multiple Barriers to Employment (PPMB).
  • You are someone designated by the MHSD as a Person with a Disability (PWD).
  • You are a person with a disability who is not reliant on MHSD support.

You will succeed

People with disabilities are almost twice as likely as others to be self-employed.
