The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Self-Employment Program is a professional business development program designed to give you the knowledge and skills needed to start and operate a successful business.

We provide workshops in business, sales and marketing, financial planning, manual and computerized bookkeeping, word processing, web design, the internet, and much more.

Additional benefits of the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Program are local and international networking opportunities in a culturally diverse environment.

Objectives... 
You will learn and develop entrepreneurial skills in order to search out and recognize viable business opportunities. You will develop a business plan to help you reach your business goals.

Our goal is to make you and your business a SUCCESS!

What the Program offers
The Self Employment Program services offered by The Ministry of Social Development are currently being refreshed. Starting April 2, 2012 our services will be available in many areas of Greater Vancouver. Once accepted into the program, you will receive a living allowance and specialized training to help you become a successful business owner.

Who qualifies?

• You must currently be in receipt of Employment Insurance benefits (EI); or have received EI during the last three years; or have received parental benefits in the last five years.
• You are disciplined and ready to commit to starting a business.
• You are prepared to make a personal investment of cash, inventory, equipment or borrowed funds towards your business.
• You are legally entitled to work and start a business in Canada. .

When is the Program Offered?

• Starting April 2, 2012 we will have continuous intake into the Self Employment Program in many areas of Greater Vancouver.
