Providing professional market research and consulting services focusing on ethnic (Asian) populations.
Our History
Since 1995, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has been partnering with government agencies, academic institutions, and private corporations on various projects aimed at understanding different aspects of the Asian communities in Greater Vancouver.

Market Research
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. serves as a bridge between Canadian and Asian markets; we provide a platform for Canadians to understand the dynamics of the Asian market while assisting people interested in Canadian market to acquire more information on running business in Canada. We deliver comprehensive market research and consulting services focusing on Asian markets and Canadian markets, depending on the needs of the clients.
Providing our Gateway to Asia and Business Links staff with expertise on Asian markets, and our networks with major Asian immigrant communities in the Lower Mainland, we can provide well-rounded services regarding Asian market development.
For immigrant entrepreneurs who want to gain an insight into Canadian market, we are here to help as well. We are capable of conducting market research and providing consulting service to people who are interested in doing business in Canada. In combination with our other programs with Chinese clientele base, we are especially strong in serving Chinese immigrants.
Public Opinion Polling
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. works with the government and other agencies in designing public policies to generate the greatest benefit for the community. Through questionnaires, interviews or focus groups, the research centre can collect data directly from the public. We focus particularly on the immigrant population who often have limited access and input in the policy making process.
Social and Demographic Factors Studies
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. provides comprehensive social services in more than 20 languages, through 12 locations in 6 municipalities across the Lower Mainland; through this network, we can recruit interviewees from a pool of people with diverse backgrounds, cultures and needs, invite them to share their experiences, and investigate relevant issues.
Trade & Investment Consultation
We serve people interested in trade and investment by providing training and consultation. Particularly, we have more than 10 years of experience in delivering Importing & Exporting in Canada training.
Cross-cultural Consultation
One of our missions is to help entrepreneurs, local or immigrant, to adapt to the ethnic-cultural diversified Canadian market. As a reputable multi-service agency aiming at promoting the well being of all Canadians and immigrants, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is experienced in delivering service of cross-cultural consultation and Asian culture study; we have expertise in serving multi-cultural clients in different areas, from business development and employment training to immigrant settlement.
Services
Research Planning
We provide consulting services on project design, research methodology, sampling, time budgeting, data analysis, and reporting.
Translation Service
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Public Education and Settlement Department has extensive experience in professional translation and interpretation services.
Clerical Support
We provide clerical support from creating questionnaires and formatting documents to entering data and editing reports.
Coordination and Monitoring
Questionnaire: Questionnaires can be distributed and collected through S.U.C.C.E.S.S. offices in 12 locations; our staff will also provide orientation to the coordinating staff, and monitor the survey to ensure that it is conducted according to professional standards.
Focus Group: Meeting rooms and equipment for focus group sessions are available; we also assist in recruiting participants, recording discussions, and transcribing data. We can also arrange for moderators who speak Chinese and other languages when necessary.
Structural Interview: We can arrange one-to-one interview with participants at different S.U.C.C.E.S.S. offices.
Telephone Polling: S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is well known and respectable as a professional social service organization, especially in Asian Community; we have a solid network within the community which helps to keep the response rate to be consistently high.
Data Documentation and Analysis
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Research Centre provides services in data entry, database maintenance, statistics, and analysis.
Report
We prepare a detailed report containing data statistics, major findings, and recommendations with input from the advisory committee and other S.U.C.C.E.S.S. staff.
Meeting/Interview Spaces
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has offices across the Lower Mainland. The Research Centre can arrange meetings and interview spaces for conducting personal interviews and running focus groups in different locations within Lower Mainland.

Our Team
Advisors
We strive for professional standards at all times. Upon the request and approval of the partner, an advisory committee will be formed to supervise the research project and to ensure that those standards are met. The advisory committee typically consists of experts in areas relevant to the project from government agencies, private corporations, universities, and non-profit organizations.
Staff
The staff members at the research centre have received formal training in research techniques and are experienced in conducting research. Backing us up are our senior management team and more than 200 staff with professional knowledge in social work, health care, business, public education, and employment counseling.
