Canada Social Enterprises Inc. (Canada Inc)
Canada Social Enterprises Inc. (Canada Inc) is a wholly owned subsidiary of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. One of its objectives is to advance the social mission of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in serving new Canadians. This is achieved by offering vocational training and home care services to new immigrants, the two services are delivered though two divisions: Canada Vocational Academy and Canada Inc Home Care Service

Canada Vocational Academy (CVA) - Career Training Programs:

  1. Health Care Assistant Diploma Program (HCA): This program prepares students for a career as health care assistant in the health care field. Graduates are qualified to register with the province as Health care assistant. The program not only provides knowledge and skills, but also focuses on enhancing student self awareness. Students are prepared to function collaboratively as members of a multi-disciplinary health care team. Upon completion of the program, graduates are capable to work in any level of institutionalized health care team as well as individually in a home care environment. The program is fully registered under PCTIA and students are fully qualified to apply for an interest free micro-loan.
  2. Caregiver Certificate Program. Caregiver program trains people in household duties, meal preparation and companionship in a Canadian home. Students are trained in household care management skills and knowledge, and are prepared properly in their mental attitude and behavior. Depending on the situation and student entrance level, English training may be supplemented as part of the overall training program for certification. Certified graduates of the CVA will find employment in various home care agencies.
  3. Computerized Accounting Certificate Program: This course teaches the fundamentals of accounting with special reference to Canadian accounting system. Students will learn more specialized software application including Simply accounting, QuickBooks, Word and Excel etc. Graduates can work in any business settings where financial records are kept. This includes small business enterprise, banks, government agencies and accounting firms.

ESL Program:

  • Adult English Course: Provides English tutoring in varies levels, from basic phonics to advance English conversation.
  • Citizenship Test Class: as part of the overall English language training, the course uses the latest 2010 study notes ( Discover Canada ) to help students prepare for the Canadian citizenship test.

Mission: To provide quality home care services at an affordable price, so that people can have a choice to live independently and conveniently at their own homes.
Advantages: our services are based on cost-recovery and due to our lower overhead, they may be lower than what government would charge. Government services are not free and client, if qualified, are charged based on their income.
Staff: Our staffs are fully certified. We have Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistant, and Certified Caregivers to offer service.
Service: Home nursing care; Home support respite care; Home support palliative care; Non Medical home support services includes household management, meal preparation, laundry, shopping and errands, escort services and companion; Short term/Long term live-in caregivers and therapeutic service .
