The Trades Solutions Program provides a friendly, professional and fun space to help connect you to your job or career in Trades.  We are available to anyone looking for work in the Trades in Metro Vancouver, whether you are moving from one trade to another or simply wanting to find out more about the wide variety of trades jobs.  In British Columbia there are  over 110 regulated trades and we help connect workers to every one of them.  We cover all trades including hairdressers, bakers, horticulturists and cooks, as well as the more obvious hard had trades like plumbers, welders, carpenters and electricians.   We group our local knowledge of trades into four sectors:  Transportation, Energy and Mining, Tourism and Hospitality and Construction.  The Trades Solutions program provides support to unemployed individuals through a two week series of workshops followed by four weeks of weekly support in the Career Café.  You can choose to attend all the workshops for full support, or you can choose the workshops that fit you best.  In the Trades Solutions program you can find help in renovating your resume and cover letter, personalized job leads to recommended local employers, support in marketing yourself effectively to employers and facts on apprenticeships, training and certification procedures.  You can receive support in both group and one-on-one meetings.  Trades solutions is located one block from Burrard Sky train station at
