S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Employment Services New Westminster office offers a comprehensive range of employment services including job club, job search and career workshops, career cafes, counselling and employment resources. Within our centre, job seekers are provided with up-to-date resources and access to comprehensive facilities. This enables clients to access a myriad of services at one convenient location in a friendly and culturally sensitive environment.

We are excited to present two innovative programs:

The Experience For Hire program provides a unique approach specifically tailored for the mature job seeker aged 45 years and older. It combines job search and self-assessment tools to help clients find the best job fit for their future.

The Pro-Tech Career Connect program is an innovative and flexible job search service designed for individuals with professional and/or technical backgrounds. It combines an intensive 2-week job finding club followed by weekly Career Café sessions. Career Café provides highly structured sessions focused by industry so that clients may network and share opportunities and insights.

Other unique aspects of both these programs are as follows:

  • New groups start each week so that clients can begin the program right away
  • Choice of either full time or modular part time
  • On-going support and guidance

LMP:
The Employer Cultural Diversity Support Services (ECDSS) project addresses the cultural diversity support service gap focusing on Employer awareness around the challenges of managing a diverse workforce.

ECDSS will concentrate on enhancing the role of the business communities in the immigrant's integration to the workforce by providing research and tools to be promoted amongst Employers and Employer Associations.

AEIP
Funded by Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC), the project aims to provide Pre-departure orientation guidance for immigrants in South Korea and Taiwan. This will facilitate their adjustment, promote community and labour market engagement and enhance their adaptation process in Canada.
